grsecurity - Passing the Baton

Today we are handing over future maintenance of grsecurity test patches to the community. This makes grsecurity for Linux 4.9 the last version Open Source Security Inc. will release to non-subscribers.

Anyone here use grsecurity and have any thoughts about this? Think this will lead to any distributions picking up grsec patches? Or picking them up again, in the case of Arch/AUR?
