Probably everybody thinks there are enough, or too many, distros already.

Please do not base your distro on Ubuntu, favour and CHOOSE DEBIAN, other wise you will get very bad surprises with the packages :( !
(Ubuntu is for newbies)

lol

I am in the camp that says: "no more distros". Much better to focus on improving the existing ones.

I agree. When I first moved to Linux, I was overwhelmed with the number of distributions available - OpenSuse, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Mephis, PCLinuxOS, etc, etc.

I would much rather see the most popular distributions improved in terms of speed, security, looks, etc than see more new distributions.

However, good luck with your project!

Please don't put splash at grub/bootup (&if you release a LiveCD).

Btw, I like the Aqua idea, since it's cool. But would not be better to make a package, well coded, in repositories that give you by a single apt-get / rpm :

can you get something as workable as a Mac, and empty of bugs ?

Please do not forget the Dashboard too:

Don't forget that they coded that well. For instance, a nice feature, they enable the drag and drop. I use that feature a lot on my mac. On the other hand, I don't appreciate much the microsoft word, version mac. :(

Good Luck!

The distro homepage doesn't seem to exist anymore.
