The status of the 4MLinux 8.0 series has been changed to STABLE:

BETA versions of 4MLinux 8.1 have been released:
4MLinux 8.1 Core
This is a core system (about 5 MB in size) for the 4MLinux 8.1 series. The system includes: Linux 3.10.28, glibc 2.18, and Busybox 1.22.1. Additional firmware and drivers (including Gallium3D, NVIDIA, and AMD video drivers) can be downloaded from the 4MLinux website. All 4MLinux 8.1 applications have been compiled under Fedora 20 (x86/32-bit/SMP) with GNU Compiler Collection 4.8.1.

4MLinux 8.1
The main features in this release are maintenance (MBR and GPT partitioning software, 4MLinux Backup Scripts 8.1, ClamAV 0.98.1), multimedia (MPlayer svn-r36573, FFmpeg Git-2014-01-11), a mini server (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SFTP), and mystery (a set of small games). The X Window System is based on X.Org Server 1.15.0, Mesa 10.0.2, JWM 2.2.0, and the FOX toolkit 1.6.49. Fully automatic installation of the "vanilla" versions of LibreOffice 4.2.0, Java RE 7u51, and VirtualBox 4.3.6 is also supported. The size of the ISO image is about 50 MB.

4MLinux 8.1 Allinone Edition
This release has Wine 1.6.2, which is able to run Mozilla software (Firefox 27.0.1, SeaMonkey 2.24, and Thunderbird 24.3.0) with Flash Player support enabled. 4MLinux Printing Suite 8.1 and 4MLinux QtPack (Qt 5.2.1, QupZilla Git-2014-01-23, SMplayer with SMTube SVN r5993) are also included. FTP (WinSCP 5.5.1), IRC (Irssi 0.8.16rc1, XChat 2.8.9), P2P (rTorrent 0.9.2, eMule 0.50a), and SSH (PuTTY 0.63) clients are available, too. The size of the ISO image is about 130 MB.

Yes, it's Speedy Gonzales. Time, which 4MLinux needs to install itself to a hard disk drive, is comparable with the time needed by an average distro just to boot.
