I just share information about new linux distribution : Nouvelix Linux
this spesific for Internet Cafe Bussinese

Nouvelix is LIVE CD distro and can be tried before it is installed to the hard disk, thus beginners can learn to advance easily without worrying about losing their old data. Nouvelix can also be installed to Flashdisk considering ISO file size is only 355mb or 50% smaller and more efficient than the general size distribution of 700MB

Nouvelix using the default KDE 3.5 modified like windows XP desktop which have konqueror as a file manager (explorer) that support all network protocols such as http, ftp. Smb, imap, ldap, nfs, NNTP, pop3, smtp and others. KDE also has a view that is userfriendly and community support kde-look.org and could install a good themes to attract visitors cafe. And one more Novelix provide 3D desktop (compiz) and virtualbox

Nouvelix also as a server, both servers billing (CCL) or other servers such as DHCP server, FTP server, SSH server, SMB servers and DNS servers etc.. There is also a graphical firewall (Guardog) and Bluetooth wireless utilities.

Nouvelix have many Internet applications such as mozilla firefox, konqueror, opera, pidgin, gyach (webcam support and plugins are complete), Kopete xchat, mIRC (usually in the windows) is run with wine, GFTP, Kmail, Bitorrent Client and others

Most cafes use a P3 processor and RAM 256, then from the very heavy if you are running Openoffice and finally I decided to use the Office Nouvelix gnumeric, abiword, and kpresent. Openoffice can be installed in the normal way as pkgtool or installpkg and run normally if necessary. There are also Gimp to edit images.

Multimedia applications are also many XMMS, Xine, Kplayer, Mplayer, CDPlayer, Avidemux (Video Converter) and other
