zorin-os-6 unlimited new install with EVGA Nvidia 9800 GTX+ video card
I recently installed the new release of zorin-os-6 unlimited on my computer: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX, AMD FX8120 CPU, 16GB Corsair 1600 MHZ Blue DDR3 SDRAM "BLUE" [4x4GB], EVGA Nvidia 9800 GTX+ Video Card. All works fine, but if I load additional Drivers from Zorin for the proprietary driver it boots to a Black [Simular to DOS Prompt] screen, forcing me to reload the zorin-os-6 ultimate back to the default linux video driver, which over scans my Monitor [RCA 25 inch 720 dpi HDTV] so that about a quarter inch is not seen. I had the zoring-os-5 Gaming system loaded before on a different [Removeable Hard Drive] drive and did not have this problem using same hardware, but different Hard drive, and zorin-os-5 Gaming loaded. I do not think it is the Hardware, but maybe the Driver that is at fault. I have not contacted zorin tech support yet, but will be doing so today in hopes that they may have a solution available. I did notice that the zorin-os-6 ultimate loaded fine on an HP Mini-110 Netbook with the standard Linux driver for video. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this to work or will I have to buy a $ 200-300 monitor?
