zip drives


hey everyone,
thanks for your kelp with my kernel build (make bzImage) now i have a new question. i cannot seem to mount my zip drive. my fstab file shows my zip as being /dev/hdd4 but when i try to mount it, the system tells me it is not a legitimate block device. any ideas? thanks

ps- and yes, i have a disk in the drive
