zabbix process monitoring
 

Hi All

Is there a way in zabbix to monitor whether a process is running( up/ down)

i am using zabbix 1.8.4

please help anyone

the answer, of course, is "yes". see http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...l/config/items for built-in items - you might want proc.num which counts number of processes by name (or other properties).

if it's a network service you might want to use net.tcp.service or net.tcp.port - or maybe some other item.
