I have a Canyon webcam. It works well on Vista. But when I dual boot the OS to uBuntu 9.04, the audio does not work, however the video is still good. My ubuntu is version 9.04 server, 64 bit.

When I lsusb, I get

What program are you using to test it ? For audio make sure to go into the options and select the USB device as the audio input otherwise, by default, it uses the system sound card.

Sorry for the late reply. Was on a short overseas trip. Yes I followed your guide and changed the options in my Skype and it worked.
