Thumbs up yum repositry


i am using RHEL5

i configured yum in /var/ftp/rpms its working properly with ftp server.

my problum is if i put the rpm files in /rpms .

how it would be worked by default ftp users.

can anyone plese give me the solution with example.

Have a look at , specifically the part for setting up anonymous users. I assume you want to have rpm packages available for anonymous users, at least it seems that you do mean that by "default users". If you use another ftp server (not vsftpd), then Google for tutorials. Quite difficult to give you samples, if you don't give infos. It's a matter of tweaking with the config files.
