Yum repo change results in mirror path errors

I just changed repos back to a standard CentOS base repo due to the custom one I was using needing https, and due to a proxy issue, only have http.

When I run yum update, it finds that the path for the mirrors is off slightly giving me 404 errors.

---> Downloading header for cups-libs to pack into transaction set.
http://ftp.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/CentOS...10.x86_64.rpm: [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
ftp://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/linux/centos/4...10.x86_64.rpm: [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://mirror.nwresd.org/pub/centos/...10.x86_64.rpm: [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.

Path here is http://site/pub/centos/4.8/os/x86_64/RPMS/file

Correct path should be http://site/pub/centos/4.8/os/x86_64/centos/RPMS/file

Any idea how to get this fixed? Thx!

You need to take a look at your yum.conf file and edit what is needed to reflect the changes to make it work.

Im not quite sure where its getting the paths from in the first place to correct it. Also Im assuming you think my repo is in yum.conf.

The repo I was using before was a third party repo, and had totally wacked paths for their private servers.

Here is the standard centos repo file:
