Yum/Apt whis is better? yum or apt repos needed


Hi,
I am usng FC4.I configured yum according to fedorafaqs.org but i am getting 404 errors.I am not able to install apt also.I searched in google but i didnt find any good yum repos.please suggest me a site.

if you want help, tell us what's happening, give us real error messages etc... what do you want from a "good" yum repo? the only ones i'd suggest adding are livna and dag
