Yet Another Apt-Get Question
Complete noob here, so please excuse my ignorance. I'm not even sure exactly how to phrase my question, but basically I'm wondering if it's better to log off my user account and log in as root and run apt-get, or is it okay to stay logged onto my user account and use the "su" command and run apt-get that way.
I'm running Libranet 2.7 if that matters at all. |
In my opinion, I say never log into a graphical root account. You can set up and run apt-get just fine if you su root in a terminal emulation window...
