Yellowdog Playstation 3

Well, I was trying to create an account on ydl.net and it said I need a coupon code and showed me a site to buy something and then it would email me a coupon code.

In order to get yellowdog linux running on my playstation 3 do I need to buy anything extra? or I should say do I 'NEED' a coupon code? I'm currently downloading the iso now I just want to know if this is going to be wasted space because I really don't want to pay for linux on my ps3.

While I have not used it personally, I do know few people who have installed YDL on their PS3.

There is nothing you need to buy, either in terms of extra hardware or software. You just download and burn the ISO, put it into the PS3, and follow the instructions.
