Yahoo, MSN messanger

Is their any program on Linux that will allow me to talk to users using MSN or Yahoo messenger.

Thanks in advance!

The most popular are Gaim and aMSN.

GAIM is good, I used aMSN a couple of times; but for Yahoo IM, I personally really like Gyach-Enhanced. It's the only Yahoo client for Linux I've found which supports webcams, and I really like its ability to "see" people who have marked themselves invisible.

Check it out at http://phpaint.sourceforge.net/pyvoicechat/

Kopete is also an alternative. Yahoo! messenger has its own Linux version, although somewhat outdated.

if you wanna compile it, you'd use:

gyach-enhanced_pyvoice-binary-1.0.6-i586.tar.bz2

if you use an rpm based distro, such as fedora or suse, you'd use:

Gyach-Enhanced-pYVoiceChat-1.0.6-1.i586.rpm
