yahoo in linux

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to install the yahoo for windows using xine. I dont know anything about xine, but I've heard it can be used to install windows programs. I have been using gyache but I havent been able to get voice working. Well, it works on incomming with a lag but when I try to talk pyvoice freezes. I do prefer gyache but I wouldnt know what to do to figure out what the problem is. Im not getting any error messages being that it is freezing but I will go and try again. In the mean time, if anyone knows if windows yahoo can be installed and working right in linux please let me know. Im using suse 9.3
Thanks

update:
I am not getting any errors for pyvoice when I try to talk, it just freezes and when I try to shut it down it says its not responding. Although I am getting some errors when I first start gyach, Im not sure if they are causing the problem. The errors are gtkdeprecationwarning and then it says use "a" instead of "b". I dont suppose its as easy as going in and changing "b" to "a" in the codes is it? I can post the errors if you think you can help me, just let me know :) thanks

Im not sure about your problem, but just to clarify, wine is used to run certain windows programs. Xine is a linux media player.
Sorry that I can't help you with your problem though

Lol, thanks, I knew it was one or the other.

I may have found something but Im not sure. While poking around the requirements for gyach I came across this:
2. PyGtk-2 (version 1.99/2.00) or PyGtk-1 (version 0.6.9), the default setup is to use PyGtk-2.

So I looked through the pyvoice code and the only gtk I could find was: /usr/local/share/gyach/pyvoice/pyvoiceui-Gtk1.py

So it should be using gtk2.py., right? I gonna guess that is the case and in my newbie logic I should now look through the gyache code to see if it is looking for gtk1 or gtk2......maybe?

Gee I hope Im not making myself look like a total doofus, lol. And please excuse my lack of knowing any proper terminology. :D

For voice and WebCam support for yahoo messenger you can try gyach :
1. Download http://www.politicalcrossfire.com/te...nstall.tar.bz2 , and save it to your home directory (important!).

2. Run these commands in the terminal, in sequential order:
Code:

tar -xjf gyach-install.tar.bz2
cd gyach
sudo ./install

gaim-vv is another choice
