Is there a graphical interface, such as xwindows with red hat 7 server. if so how do i turn it on?

Have you tried to start the x server (if there is one, I dont know!). You can do this by issuing the command

startx

just after you have logged in. If you didn't configure it during the install then you probably dont have it but then you may be able to download xfree86 from http://www.xfree86.org and configure it your self. Then you need a desktop to use such as KDE or gnome, or if you want a smaller on then iceWM.
