Question Xwin wont start!! =(


Ok so yesterday Im reading this thing on how to get half life up and running on liunx so I get to the part about installing a win emu so I downloaded it and it was a .rpm file so I installed it. I turn my computer off then on again and whopde doo when i type startx I get this :

(EE)Unable to locate/open config file
(EE)Error from xf86Handle config file()
Fatal server error:
no screens found

then when i try to go to /var/log/xFree86.0.log it says permission denied and im logged in as root....

ugh, please help

If you believe that the Windows emulator software broke X, remove it with 'rpm -e wine' or whatever (you may not be using wine).
