xserver shut down eth0????

Hi all!
I've got a strange problem because when I start X mi internet connection crash.
I've got the following message:
"waiting x server to shutdown eth0: too much work at interrupt IntrStatus=0x0001".
If I do a "ping" before running X everything ok, but while I'm in X ping doesn't work!
I'm on debian sid, ethernet connection to a router.

i'm not really sure that i understand what's happening with your x, but i've noticed that sometimes my connection doesn't seem to work once i log into mine. my solution-
ifdown eth0
ifup eth0

once i do that, everything is peachy. it doesnt' happen all the time, yet when it does this is my quick fix.
