Unhappy xserver problems with Mandrake 10

Hi,
I have a problem with mij xserver(KDE), I have set up the right monitor(Dell E171FPb), but when i start my computer the screen is much bigger than my monitor. It is not a problem with the resolution (I only have it on 1024/768).

So anyone who knows the problem and the solution please tell me.

tnx

What you have is called a virtual display. Please post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf or maybe xf86.conf and i maybe able to help.

I found out that it was an incorect Bios setting,
Dell Dimension pc's are known to have problems with this (I didn't know)
I have changed the Bios entry on my graphics card from 1mb to 8mb and it works.
