Xserver & SSH

I just wanted to know if there is a way to see the desktop of the external machine if I log myself in on it through a SSH session on my RH 9.0 box, i.e.

ssh -l <username> <servername>

I can start applications and so on, but I really want to see the desktop. A standard XDMCP is out the question because telnet has been shut of because of security reasons.

Kind Regards
