xrdp stopped working, blocked port 3350

I have xrdp installed on a RHEL5.3 machine. Remote desktop from windows was working fine for a few weeks, and stopped working last week. The xrdp process is running. When I open a session, xrdp, seisman-xvnc connection, enter my username and password, I always get the same error:
connecting to seisman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350
error connect seisman - connect timeout

I even tried all the other options available for connecting, same error. Please advise what I need to check and modify to get this working.
