XP Disk check after GRUB? (Ubuntu)

Hey guys,
I am dual booting XP and ubuntu, and everytime i want to go to XP through GRUB, and every time a Windows Disk Check apears. How can i stop this? I've set my hard drive partions to 50/50 (20GB on each side)so could that be the problem?

Thanx, Swiftskii

Did you resize your partitioning? If so it could be the NTFS partition that XP is held on gained some minor corruptions or abnormalities. Have you allowed Windows Disk Check to do a full check? it should repair the issue if it is allowed to run fully, if not then you might need a tool capable of repairing broken NTFS partitions, while the partition itself might be usable it could still have issues that are best fixed. As a note if you do run anything like that, I would make a back-up of any important data first, just in case.
