Exclamation xp bootloader

ok i messed up a few things with GRUB and now it says error 15 when i power ^ my comp i want to put xp bootloader back on for a temp amount of time. Where can find these files and how do i get them installed back.

You should be able to run fixmbr from the Windows XP recovery console, or from a boot disk.

If you have a Windows boot disk, you could use fdisk - type

fdisk /mbr

to restore the MBR that way.

i had the same problem.
it is solved if u boot from a floppy or cd....
and the next time u boot from the hard disk(yes don't do anything) the problem gets solved .
i happened for me
