Question XP and Redhat 9 Samba Usage Sharing?

I just installed A dual boot on my box...Redhat9 and Win Xp...the booting phase works very well. However, when I'm in rh9 and i try to look at my different workgroups setup on my network. I can view my other boxes such as windows XP. I have mostly mp3 files on there, How can i access these files with xmms or any audio player without having to copy them over to my computer first. I get some kind of xmms error or unviersal error message saying I can't access the files on the share I must copy to hydra first. Is there a way to configure smb or can I not use files on a NTFS partition. I read somewhere you have to mount the share, no idea how to do that????
