1st Linux

1Gb for swap partition and 5 to 10 Gb for Linux.

This is a possibility if you have disk space.

I thought the whole point of your whole dive into Linux, is because you were upset with Microsoft? Dual boot can be done, provided you have enough disk space.

You started this thread while still working thru the issues in your other thread. How many different things are you doing at once?

We need the specs on the computer(s) and we need to know exactly how you want things setup. If nothing else, you can get the specs from the BIOS setup screen. This is usually accessed with the delete key or one of the FX keys during the first part of bootup.
