xmodmap problem

Hi,

Im trying to remove a 'keysym' from a key on my keyboard, as that keysym has now been moved to another key.

But everything I try doesnt work.

Neither can I use the keycode of the original and now defunct key (obtained by xev) to create a new 'keysym' for the key.

Im at a loss.

Hm. What's the contents of your Xmodmap?

I have a line in mine,

Code:
remove Lock = Caps_Lock
Have you tried something similar?
