XMMS won't play my mp3's
I just installed Suse 10 the other night and I find I'm having trouble playing my mp3's with xmms.
I used to be able to play them with 9.3 but they don't work now?
Any idea on what I can do to make them play. I have a directory on hdd named music. I can see, I can select the files but when I hit add, they don't add.
I can play them in real player but I don't seem to get an option to select like all of them at once, I can only play one at a time it seems with real player.

You'll have to get updated xmms, whatever, from packman... Suse has disabled mp3 and dvd stuff due to German law and others, but you can get the updates you need to make it work...

my solution
I had the same problem with other distros. Sometimes they dont want you to play mp3s kinda crapy. You can use realplayer or uninstall yer XMMS and reinstall a downloaded version or try other players.

I just opened YAST and then did an update. It works now really well.
As far as does real player have a playlist? I don't think so, I could only play one song at a time.
