XMMS - Streaming Radio - Buffer Problem

I am having a problem getting streaming shoutcast radio to run in my XMMS package.

XMMS can run CD's and MP3's fine. When I try a shoutcast radio station, the buffer loads to 100%, then the music runs until the buffer is finished, then that is it, until I press the "STOP" button and then the buffer re-loads itself.

What do you suggest I do to trouble-shoot the issue.

XMMS Bugzilla is confusing to me. I don't know how to post a problem or to search the database of problems. (Check it out - definately designed by a IT Parse Congnizent Database user not a 'fresh-off-the-microsoft-bandwagon" user.)

On searching this site, and the XMMS FAQ, I cannot see any reference to this issue. Other folks just plug in the URL and off they go. Me - Plug in the URL, and off I go for 5 seconds ... over and over and over again.

Details : Mandrake 9.1 network install via Linux Format Cover CD's/ xmms 1.2.7 / Gnome Desktop / 20GB / 256DAM / Fresh re-re-reinstall.

Thanks in Advance

OK - I'll settle the issue - "reboot the system and polarise the terminals attached to the sonic scewdriver with the latest kernal update" will solve the problem.

Sorry for wasting any one's time. Music from Poland is now being heard in my office in Malaysia. Hu-Ray!

But the bug-zilla front end is still ghastly!
