Xmms Problem :(
 

Hi all,

I just installed everything for xmms, on linux 9 I just got my mp3s
to work, but the speed of the music goes fast and no music comes out,

anyone know what im doing wrong? lol

change your output driver.

btw, if you don't know how to do it, right click on your xmms gui and go to options>preferences and from there you should be able to change your output driver to OSS or something.

I believe you're using the Wave Writer output plugin. Go to preferences and try a couple different output plugins until you find something that works.

oh, so thats why its been changin the filenames to wav. man im dumb.

wait a second.....i only have two drivers, the disk writer and the oss driver, so, if the oss driver is the wav writer plugin, how do i get a new plugin just to play the mp3?
