xmms crashes when i try to play anything


it will start up fine but as soon as i try to play any media files of any kind it just crashes. amarok works just fine though.

Start xmms via the console then try to use it as normal, if it works with no problems then the crashing is caused by the wrapper command, you can rectify this by editing the command used to start xmms via the menu using the menu editor. If it crashes again you should get an error output in the console window just paste it here in this forum.
