Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "MachineName:1.0".


when i use application in windows its working fine , the same app when i use in Linux getting error like
Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "MachineName:1.0".

How to solve for the above problem in Linux platform .

have you installed the appropriate drivers?

what linux are you using?

what video card do you have? ( you can find out with
Code:
lspci
) ( probably under VGA )
