xinstall problems
 
i found my xinstall but i am haveing problems installing programs. can anyone shine some light on my problem please. i am also running KDE v.3.2 on Mandrake 10.1

A little bit more info would help sort out your problems, like what program you are trying to install and what type of program as in program.tar.gz...program.rpm....any errors reported....info always helps.

trying to install kopete-0.10.3.tar.bz2 and i have it unziped already nor it is just haveing a problem installing at ther end of ./configure it says it cannot find xinstall
