Xine installation loop...


I downloaded the Xine library, and typed ./configure...all good
I Type make... and it never ends...its like it loops over and over, same with make install, i need to get this to work to make Gxine to work...which oddly installed, but i cant use it...why?

which distro?

You shouldn't need to compile it.

slackware v12 is my distro
What part would be considered "compiling?" ./configure?
make? or make install...if a different command is needed, what is it?
