Question Xine DVD help please...

i know this may not be up most people's street, but i tried to play a dvd for the first time in xine today, it plays vcds fine, but all it does is play the sound and show a blank screen with a dvd. Do i need to download something or change a parameter? it is the rpm of xine that i got with my mandrake 8.2 CD, so it's 'out of the box' tastic. thanks in advance.
Oh, in case yr interested, here's the subprocess dialogue from when i try to play a dvd in xine:
