xf86setup

Dear all,

While practicing the LPI objectives (http://www.lpi.org/en/obj_101.html) I found that knowledge of the XF86Setup tool is required.

I can't find the tool neither on my SuSE 9.3 machine nor on my Debian 3.1 box.

What package do I have to install?

Regards, Carsten

Do you have X installed? If you do, it should be /usr/bin/X11/xf86config.

I hope this helps

Yes, X is installed and configured on both machines.
xf86config is doing fine
Code:
ls -l $(which xf86config)
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 121976 2005-06-01 08:03 /usr/bin/X11/xf86config
However, I think xf86config and XF86Setup are different tools. The first one is text-based and the latter is supposed to provide some kind of interface??!

Regards, Carsten
