XF86Config

Hi,

can anyone tell me why one XF86Config is in /etc/X11 and another one in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 ?

My OS is SuSE 7.3 with XFree86 4.3.0

Thanks in advance,
micha

Hi Micha
Usually (and it is like this on Suse 8.x) the /etc/X11 is just a link to the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 Directory. It's there for compatibility reasons.

Maddie
