xdmcp sound on a remote host problem

I've setup kdm for xdmcp connection, and from another computer with win98 I've connected to my X Server with X-Win program. Everything works fine, but the sound is playing not on the remote host (Win98), but in the XServer. What should I do to fix this problem, because it's annoying to hear every sound event that happened on the remote host. If can direct the sound to the remote hosts sound card, how can I disable it?

Thanks

I know this is way old but I'd like an answer to this. How can I disable sound for remotely logged in users but allow the same users to have sound when logging in locally?
