I just looked up Obsidian. It appears that Obsidian is a computer support company in Africa. It this is what you are talking about then you should contact them. If you have something else in mind then you should post a link to exactly what you are interested in.

yes exactly it is something else. its a plugin for xchat, the link to it is http://homepages.tu-darmstadt.de/~awerth/obsidian/ thats what im trying to get working. but in general i want an fserverfor irc client prefferably xchat i cant seem to find any let alone for xchat.

Thank you for listing the web page for the plugin.

As per that web page you are using version 0.9.3-pre3?

You realize that this project hasn't had an update in over 6 years. Yet reading that web page it seems that different versions of xchat presented different problems with obsidian. I would expect that as xchat releases new versions then they would present new problems for obsidian. Yet, as the obsidian project appears to be abandoned any new problems would be left unresolved.

This may create an opportunity for you to get involved in open source development. :) Perhaps you can dig into the guts of xchat and obsidian and resolve the problems.

yes i do realize this but its the only fserve i could find on xchats scripts page thats relatively new i am useing version 0.9.2-pre3.
i would love to but i have no idea how to get started im in experienced in programing. the only languages i really know are html and css. i know a little python but thats about it. im not even sure what the problem is it shows the cache of files it updates the files but when i type the trigger in from a differnt computer in the house all it shows is "Received a CTCP BLOODYSCRIPT! from hraesvelg". !list dosnt work either. if i have to fix it myself than were do i start
