xcdroast Question.

I just burned a CD and got the following brun file. I also got some error messages during this operation. Here is the log file. I would like to know if this CD was burned well and what the error messages stand for. Thanks.

Vijay

this means that the libscg interface code was not the most up-to-date one

you should look for the beta version

this means that maybe you attempted to burn this one once before
or that the disc may not have been totaly blank

it couldnt start at the very beginning of the disc

every thing else looked fine to me

should work

check the md5sum on it tho make sure it matches the one from the site where you down loaded it

Where can I find the beta version of libscg interface code ? Also once I find it, How can I use it ?

How can I check the md5sum of the files on the CDROM ? please assist. I know how to check the md5sum of the downloaded iso Image. Thanks.

pre alpha

the burner thinks so

put libscg
in google and search for it
it may take awhile

if you would tellme the distribution of linux you have it may help in findng the file

if you have redhat or any distribution that uses . rpm's

go here
and put it in the search
http://rpm.pbone.net/

Thanks very much for the offer. However, for now if there is no harm, I prefer to continue to use the present version of xcdroast that I have. By the way my OS is Vector Linux 3.2
