Xbuffy News non-reset (slrn)

I have set the variable $NTTPSERVER to my favorite newsserver.
I start 'slrn' and I read my news as always. When I finish reading a group I mark the group read with the c button.

The problem then is ... when I tell xbuffy to watch my newsserver:
xbuffy -news

It uses a very long time to startup and then tells me the total amount of posts in the group. I would ofcause like it to be the amount of unread posts.

How can I solve this problem ??

Thanks !
