I wish to install Xandros 3 free version,will it work with AMD athlon 64bit,3200mhz, will it install onto a western digital SATA drive, 10.000k speed hard drive,
I've recently installed xandros 3.0 deluxe on a system with a seagate sata and ide drive. The sata drive was on a promise controller and xandros didn't 'see' it, just the ide drive.
I had to change the connection to a non-promise controller before xandros could recognize it. Works now but xp keeps disappearing from the boot options.
I should probably reformat and reinstall the whole thing but I'm too lazy so I'll live with using the restore function when I have to.
