When I run x11perf, the higher the numbers better or it is the lower the number the better.
The reason im asking is I ran 2 tests 1 was without mtrr support in the kernel and one was with mtrr in the kernel. The one without the mtrr in the kernel had lower numbers then the one with mtrr.

I guess the one with higher number is better.

I had the same question and by some googling I got to know that.
