X Window System...

Hi! I'm new to linux, and had a question....or two.

I installed the lastest version of Arch linux, but I'm having problems getting a gui installed. I want to use xfce, but I'm a bit lost on installing the requirements. You have to install X Window System, correct? I tried installing it but had problems, I think I didn't have all the files could someone list the required files to install X Window System and possibly and tips to installing xfce???

Any help is appreciated.

Don't know anything about your distribution. If it was using .deb packages, you'd just need the server package and the client package, I would have thought. You have little chance working out which individual things you need for yourself - there are a large number of them.
