X: user not authorized to run the X server

trying to open applications like firefox and other web application.. in terminal, b4 it open app, message is:
"X: user not authorized to run the X server"...

I tried editing "Xwrapper.config" file, but it says you have no permission... though i am logged in from root..

i do i get permission assigned for "Xwrapper.config" so i can make "anybody" eligible to access x server...

or is there other way round.. to get permission to x server..
