X Startup

I'm trying to make nvtv start when I type kdm but it refuses to. I've made a readable file called tv which contains the line:

exec /usr/bin/nvtv --tv-on --system PAL --set DualViewn -r 800,600 -s Small

And then I put that file into /.kde/Autostart but it didn't want start (when I type ./tv in the console it works fine so it's not a problem with the file)

"when I type ./tv in the console it works fine"

Maybe nvtv has to be started from the command line. Try this in /.kde/Autostart:

exec konsole -e /usr/bin/nvtv --tv-on --system PAL --set DualViewn -r 800,600 -s Small

Be prepared. Create a LifeBoat CD.
