X server crash

Hi all,
I'm running MDK 9.1 / Win 98 SE.
I turned the PC off, using log out in KDE. The next time I started it up The X Server crashed.
The message was ;
failed to load "bitmap'
failed to load "pcidata"

I just reinstalled 4 days back. because of an x server crash, it was a different message that time.

Any thoughts??

Thanks,
Digger

Got free disk space? X can fail if you haven't.

It would be helpful if you posted the XF86 log in full.

Swap 765meg with 392 meg sdram

I second JC's notion: post the content
of
/var/log/XFree86.0.log

And, while you're at it, add the output of:
df -m

Cheers,
Tink
