x-mmsh decoder error while streaming videos?

I've noticed that on some sites when i try to play a video the browser asks to run a plugin (i'm using chrome) and then this messege pops out in a dialog box
Required plugin could not be found

Python (v2.7) requires to install plugins to play media files of the following type: application/x-mmsh decoder
I tried googleing but couldn't find any thing that was ment for 12.10 or written with in the past year. So Please if someone could resolve this issue for me?
