WYSIWYG for Mint 19.3

Just converted to Mint 19.3 and using kMyMoney but need an HTML editor to modify a check printing template in HTML.

I do not know how to code, so I need a free WYSIWYG package but cannot find one. Gwrite is long dead. Any answers newer than from 2014? (Please don't suggest I learn to code. I only need to do this one small project.) Thanks.

For years I used Composer in Seamonkey browser, but sadly that's no more. I now use and online WYSIWYG located HERE.

Luck!

How kind of you to reply so quickly. That may be helpful, but how do you save the file? I see only New and Print as options.

Once you create your file using this site, just Copy the HTML output on the left side and Paste into any notepad type app that you use on your system, then save as <your choice of file name/location>. Easy-peasy!

Here's a screenshot of what I'm explaining above.

Hope that helps you!

EDIT: If you prefer an app on your actual computer, I found THIS for you.

Thank you, good person.

In the interim, I discovered that LibreOffice can save files in HTML. So I created a document with the correct prompts such as $PAYEE_NAME and saved it. It took me a few tries to get the spacing close to correct, and it isn't perfect yet - but I have a template that banks won't reject! I plan to quit while I'm a head, as the hippies used to say.

In the early days when I did some web programming I used a program called bluefish on Linux. I don't remember how it was in terms of a WYSIWYG editor as I mainly just looked at the code/text...but it's worth checking out. It was a pretty nice editing program.

Funny enough, I was about to suggest exactly that, but then I checked it and noticed that it only has a "preview in browser" feature - a WYSIWYG would allow editing the rendered HTML itself.
Besides seamonkey's compositor (woefully behind on security updates, but if you keep it off the net there's no reason not to use it) there was a more recent one based on Mozilla's rendering, KompoZer.
And a quick web search for "wysiwyg html editor" brings up a few more cross-platform alternatives.
