Can someone tell me step-by-step how to install wxGTK-2.4.2 on Mandrake 9.0?

I tried to install wxGTK by following commands on http://mathstudio.sourceforge.net/de...ns.html#linux, but when I wrote "make" in contrib/src folder, in terminal, there was a lot of errors.

Please help me!

When I try to install wxGTK-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm, grpmi tells me, that I need libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) . What it is and where can I find it?

(please don`t laugh, I don`t speak English so good

just install the rpms that come on the Distro CD's like any other RPM package, no special action is required for wxGTK. the GLIBC_2.3 issue you are having, requires you to install the glibc-2.3.x rpm, you presumably only have a 2.2.x glibc release at the moment, again this should be on your discs.

What is Distro CD?
