Hi, we were given a list of instructions to follow and all was going well until I got to a particular problem.

I'm stuck as I can only use each command once. Any help is much appreciated! (sorry for being a noob)

Hi,

show us what you have tried (but doesn't meet the criteria) and we can probably help steer you towards a solution.

Here you will find a listing of commands available to you to use
http://www.linuxdevcenter.com/cmd/

The ones I suggest you look at are :-
pwd
cat
grep/egrep/fgrep
ls
wc

All the best.
